Somebody saw photographs of my miniatures and thought they were "layouts", not playing pieces.

This gave me the idea to do a "layout".

Size 50mm x 35mm.

Could make the SMs a bit bigger and the crawler could get a more natural pose - or I could just for a pedestal and go on :)

Ha, that's a lovely little piece. Too bad about that mold line along the top of the crawler though. Is it a 3D print?

Yes it's a3dprint.

No mold lines with 3d prints - it's a crack. I probably should make it more pronounced or get rid off it.

@primarch.
Thanks

Awesome, i recon more contrast between the crawler the mud would make the piece really pop.

Ahh. I think it's because it's so straight - it runs right through the model, regardless of features and such. In real life I'd imagine a crack would be more ragged, and to an extent follow the weld lines and such, if that makes sense.

Still an excellent little diorama!

Crack was the wrong word, when I did it I thought about a Lascannon cutting the Rhino in two. But anyway, if you have to explain it, it's not good enough - so I redid it.
I will be busy the next two weeks, so I wanted to get over it before than and hurried it through.
I removed the cut and resized the Marines. I kept the colors as they were, because I wanted the stuff too look like it would be stuck in the mud for quite some time. That's the reason, why the chests and barrels haven't any different hue from the ground.
