I fancied something different from the White Dwarf pattern bunkers that are available and had a look round for inspiration for something to use as a three unit bunker for the EA DKOK list. Here is a mk1 bunker, cast up in resin from a prototype I made.

I'm already thinking of variations and changes for the mk2 version, the roof texture (not visible in the photo's needs smoothing out and I'd like to use a set square rather than just measuring. I'd like to add some details too but things like ladders would difficult to do at 6mm scale. Ideas gratefully received.

Zip ties can be used to make good ladders at 6mm. Just find a size that works for you can cut off an appropriate length.

Yes but you probably wouldn't have a ladder on the outside of a bunker would you?

Would just allow someone to climb up the side and throw a hand grenade inside!

Good shout about the zip-ties. I got some inspiration from the below and other bunkers on the Atlantic Wall.
