Just recently I've been trying to put together the beginnings of a Space Marine army and I'm wondering how to represent the Sniper ability on scouts. I tried a conversion based on swapping the head of a SM scout onto an Eldar ranger model but the results were pretty dreadful. Before I destroy more OOP models in ill-advised conversions, what have other people done to represent snipers in their Scout detachments? |

the zero-model option is to model little cammo blankets and sniper barrels into terrain on the base. so you don't have actual sniper minis on there, just evidence of concealed snipers. |

Exodus wars do a suitably armoured sniper model in their guild range, have a look for shadow knights |

Dark Realm Pax Arcadia scouts wouldn't be a half-way bad option either. Not exact but not too bad. |

Like Simon said: http://www.steelcrowngames.com/products ... iper-rifle I put a bit of plasticard rod on the front for a fire suppressor. I used the regular guy as the base for my scouts. I did a Catachan head swap and throw a Bolt Pistol on there from the oversized stock scouts. |
