Post subject:  Plastic, Resin or Other Non-metal Titans?

Hi,

I've recently gotten ahold of some of the Steel Crown behemoth models and, while nice, I have rediscovered that I dislike working with multiart metal models, especially as big as these ones are. They're heavy and require pinning (which I am not willing to do at this stage) otherwise they remain very brittle at the faultlines where things get glued together and I'm walking on eggshells trying to transport the thing.

So, does anyone know of any models that would make suitable proxies for Warhound, Reaver and Warlord titans (or other titans) that aren't metal?

I'm looking at the Dropzone Commander PHR walkers as replaceents for a Warhound titan, does anyone have some side by side photos of one of these next to 6mm tanks/infantry/titans? I'm looking for height particularly

Thanks guys!

Just curious, why won't you pin them? (sorry for the minor derailment)

Don't have the equipment, don't know how to do it properly, injured myself doing it years ago for regular Wh40k models so leery of messing around with it again and wouldn't use the equipment for anything more than just the one Behemoth model so I'd be buying it just to allow me to build this one model.

you could have a look at converting privateer press warjacks. I think they're in plastic now.

Old style Warlords on Ebay are surprisingly cheap. I've bunged some scale shots of DZC stuff by GW titans in the Proxie Comparison thread don't have the PHR models myself and it's best done by eye. Battletech also might be worth a look

Would you be interested in trading what you don't like for something you do like?
