Are these the same model? Anyone got a pic of both side by side? They look pretty close. |

You mean Eldar? My SM/TL war walkers looked like a Guardian siiting inside an egg with legs. My EA warwalkers looked like a Guardian sitting in the pelvic bones of a formerly walking wraithbone construct. -S'Cipio |

Hmm. These are E:A-era War Walker models. They're the only ones I have and I bought them new in 2009. The last picture in L4's post above is of models that I remember from the days of E40K. The huge variety of weapons (many of which are way too big) are a dead giveaway, plus I have a White Dwarf from October '97 here with them in. But what gets odd is that in the Epic 40,000 Battles Book, there are photos on pages 32 and 48 that are clearly the same as the later E:A model. The old-style scatter laser also suggests that it's an older model from before 1997. So I'm pretty sure that the E:A-era War Walker is a reissue of an older model from before E40K. |

What's what I wanted to confirm. The third pic is both SM/TL and EA era I believe. |

4th pic is the Epic40k era, they have the wing on the back. EA era was just one of the E40k era warwalkers, and they left the wing off also. (Edit) Actually I might have that wrong about the EA era walker reading through other posts... |

Ya, EA definitely wasn't the E40k model. The weapons are different and they're aligned vertically in E40k, not horizontally like EA. Fun fact though, the EA Wraithlord is the E40k one just with the head ridges removed. Next question, which War Walker (E40k or EA/SM/TL) has a pilot sized closest to the SM1 Eldar Guardians? |

The Pilot in any of them is about the size of an SM1 Guardian ... And so I should switch the last two pics lables to be accurate ... I'm old I forget stuff ... ![]() ![]() |
