Finished product! I was pretty happy with how these came out. I wanted to capture the "swarming" aspect of Nids and portray that on the objectives. Included some close ups of the blitz objective and a group shot of all three. I also used a very fine brush for a lot of the lines. They ended up getting pretty beat up. Does anyone have suggestions on how to maintain the point on very fine brushes? And as always, C&C are encouraged!

DK - well there's some good news for you, a ton of my army is still unpainted haha. With all this cold, I haven't even been able to put a base coat on the entire army yet.

Thanks! I wasn't 100% sold on the colors when I started. I had originally wanted to go with more muted natural tones. But I'm finding more as I paint this army that I really like the bright contrasts that are created here.

I appreciate it Toco!

So I finished my first hive tyrant. Happy with how the model came out, I think the wings make it more impressive on the table.

However, I'm unsure about the colors. The tan on the membrane seems to blend a bit. I might try and darken the "fingers" to make more contrast. C&c always welcome and I hope ya like it!
