| Post subject: | Ideas for Chaos Feral Titan Conversion? |
Hey guys! I've got a spare Imperial Forge World Warhound titan laying around, and I'd love to turn it into a Feral Chaos Titan. Only thing is, I'm loathe to carve up a discontinued model like this. Any ideas on chaosing it up a bit without making irreversible alterations to the model? Or should I even be looking at another range? I seem to remember someone using Warmachine Cryx models for Chaos Titans. Was it Onyx? |

Yup,l I used Warmachine Cygnar Hunters as a base for my Warhounds.  A list of the conversion bits includes:
Dark Realm Miniatures guns. GW Demon heads. Banners from Bell of Lost Souls. The Tail is from the 40K Chaos Defiler. Various GW Spikes, Chaos Icons & Chain sword. |

Love the Warmachine minis, very cool! Some Greenstuff on the FW warhound wont be Irreversible. Sculpt or maybe make chaos push moulds and use the GS natural adhesive to stick to the model. If you get sick of it in the future youll be able to peel it off! |

The Cryx-based ones may have been my Plaguehounds:    With Plaguereapers and an original Warhound for scale:  Although Onyx's Cygnar-based ones are much closer to Warhounds in structure and weaponry. |

there we go. batch painting was a silly idea, I've got approx 2000 points of dark admech all half painted now!

I've got one too    basic idea (to convert a Warjack) was stolen from Onyx - thanks  right arm (tentacle) is from a 40K Possessed Marine or something - I didn't know what to put there since from the datasheet the 2nd weapon seems to be in the head. left arm - a gun I made myself by adding 3 pieces of copper tubing to the existing arm head - I think that's one of the 40K vehicle gun or exhaust end pieces. I pried it open a bit and put a piece of a Tzeentch flamer inside, to act as the battle-head/gun mouth. all in all wasn't really that much work cheers, |

back to modifying the GW warhounds, grab a 40k chaos vehicle sprue and glue some spike ring parts across its back. Maybe add some chains. Easy to remove as it is just a couple of small spot joins. Not the more nuanced chaos conversion, but will do the job. |

you could try the FW brass-etch chaos symbols that Onyx used to excellent effect on his chaos superheavies.... |
