I noticed the Crassus and Praetor IG Tanks on eBay in Epic scale: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Custom-Epic-40k ... 1166071695 http://www.ebay.com/itm/Custom-Epic-40k ... 1119363410 Does anyone know who made these? Someone in the TC community? I would like to know. The seller claims not to know. I have been trying to make my own ones based on some very old resin Macharius that I have which is no longer in production by the maker. |

These were from the legendary otterforge that the crusading lawyer knights of nottingham smote with great and furious vengeance. |

The Exodus Wars Guild Gaia Heavy Transport Squadron and the Steel Rain and the other infantry transporter (forget the name) from TMG are your best bet to use a basis. |

I'd recommend the Troublemaker Games models if you want the specific look as they are excellent proxies for these designs. I have a batch myself. |

Here's a comparison shot I took of the mythical ALLCAPS next to the Gladstonian. In short, they're a good fit. download/file.php?id=9468&mode=view |

Thanks guys! I half expected no-one would read this post. That Troublemaker Games stuff looks particularly impressive. I guess I won't be finishing my own ones anytime soon. Nice sisters and skinners too. And no more cutting those old square bases in half and gluing them on cardboard bits to make the new narrow bases! Thank GOD! Have to get me some of those nifty rectangular infantry bases... |

No, I still base 5 guys per base, the one is just half on the base. Then i fill the gaps with tile sealant which is dirt cheap and relatively easy to mold, it just takes 12h to dry. Then I fille the excess of and glue/sand it. In the end the real and fake rectangular ones are indistinguishable. Sounds like a lot of work I know and it is, but I do the same stage to a lot of bases at once so it's not that bad. I mainly do it when I buy pre-based rare infantry like tyranids that only brake if you try to remove them and sometimes when I have no other bases and original rectangular ones cost more than platinum at eBay. |

I was gonna say. I ordered the big group of them from steelcrowns and should have them relatively soon. Since all my guys are on rectangles and I wanna keep it that way for all the armies I eventually do. |
