hi all, got some funky stuff in an army i bought - inc 80 terminators :o

i picked out a few odd looking items
marines on jet bikes, some weird looking walkers some metal landspeeders and some unusual predators, separately i have two of these little metal hatches with what looks like a searchlight on them too,

just wondering about the rarety of them ? they worth much? probably will not be hanging onto the jetbikes/weird walkers/odd predators as i will probably never use them and i have a tonne of other stuff now

thanks

John

They are early models. Pretty much as you describe, marines on jetbikes from AT era. Early metal land speeder. Early model predator destructor and annihilator.

Not especially valuable, but worth a lot more than plastics. The market for old AT metal marines fluctuates a bit.

the bikes are the coolest out of the lot, they would be nice in a whitescars army

Yes, the bikes and Land Speeder are from the SM/AT1 era. as is the metal SM ... The Tanks are a versions of the Predator from SM2/TL as are the Eldar War Walkers ... I've got them all of course as I started Epic in '90 ... They may be valuable to a collector, but otherwise they can be used with today's Epic rules. The Jet Bikes can be used for standard Bikes ...

hi!

All old era stuff. I never licked them much, and are not particularly sought after or valuable.

hi Guys heres one for you to answer,

Image

two different sized avatars? or a different model? what do you recon?

mini avatar! as with the greater demons these was a smaller size avatar mini made at one point, i think the one on the left is the e40k era one.

Both are regular avatars, just made/sculpted at different points in epic's history.

cool, the one on the right can be him "hulking up" when pissed off

Post subject:  Re: Name that marine

there are at least 4 different avatar models..... the one on the left is the smaller E40k one, he came in a blister with the command falcon (winged helmet style fins on the turret) and farseer mounted on a vyper jetbike

the one on the right was from SM2

the other two are confusing as the guy with the spear was definitely released for E:A, but the dude with the sword seems too good a sculpt to belong to AT or SM2.....

Yep ... they were too big for my tastes ... but made great statues ! Image IIRC, The tall one was from E:A, the Blue one - E40K, and the silver one - SM2 ... there was a taller one that was about the size of a 40K figure ... didn't waste $$$ getting that one ... This is what I use for an Avatar, with his commo and staff - Image Image ;D
