Hi Guys,

You may have seen a previous thread about me getting into NetE:A via Minigeddon. This is the first of 1K forces, Steel Legion:

Steel Legion 1K, Minigeddon List
Steel Legion (NetEA Army Compendium v20120208)
MECHANISED INFANTRY COMPANY [400]
Commander, 12 Infantry, 7 Chimera
SUPER-HEAVY TANK PLATOON [200]
Shadowsword
TANK COMPANY [400]
6 Leman Russ (reduced)

It does suffer from having two equally highest units, leaving the BTS(s) more vulnerable. I'm willing to take this chance, as I don't have a lot of Guard minis to chose from and like all the ones included.

I have been stripping/rebasing some minis, here is a pic of the army, the Shadowsword needs a base (Fenis has been asked).

Always liked those various versions of the old SM2/TL Chimeras ! I have some too ! 8)

Their not too bad, easy to paint up.

Quick update, barely dried from my paint booth are my Chimeras for the Minigeddon list. These old minis have been given an updated camo scheme, but retain their old school (three stripes) company marking; I was feeling nostalgic. Ill probably have a go at the Russes next, now that im happy with the paint shceme.

Those are a special close protection unit for the much loved Commissar.

My super heavy bases arrived from Fenris Games today, so I can start work on the Shadowsword. I've also made a start on the Russes, including a simple conversion to Vanquisher on the lead tank.
