Well I started working on my Horus Heresy infantry. I am planning on running an Istvaan III scenario/campaign for my gaming group. You may notice the basing is a bit weird on the figures. That is because I will be using a different set of rules, not any incarnation of Epic. These are not finished. Mainly I have to finish the banners and the labels for the bases. You can see some of the labels at the top of the EC photo. The labels work with the rule set I am using and also helps players that are not familiar with the 40k universe. Emperor's Children ![]() Sons of Horus ![]() World Eaters ![]() More to follow... |

I played that a local con last year, it was man-to-man though. Are there rules for squads of infantry as playing pieces, rather than single figures? |

Dave wrote: I played that a local con last year, it was man-to-man though. Are there rules for squads of infantry as playing pieces, rather than single figures? Yes, 1 stand = 1 squad. Leaders are important to the game, activating units, rallying pinned troops, etc, so they have their own stands. The game was designed for 15mm figures, but some have been playing it with 6mm WWII without converting the ranges. So I figured I could use Epic figures. There are free play test rules on the website (http://fireballforward.com/downloads/) if you want a general idea of how things work. That pdf focuses on infantry. The final rules, which came out about 2 years ago, have a lot more tanks, aircraft, artillery, etc. |

You use the same technique I use by using stats already there as a baseline and work from there. ![]() Primarch |
