G'day, long time lurker, first time poster.....anyway here's what I've been working on over the last few months (bit different from my usual 20mm WW2 stuff)...putting this army together was a bit of a nostalgia trip for me...2nd edition Space Marine was probably my favourite game ever.....

Thanks for the nice comments fellas.... Quote: Surely you jest - that army was painted over the last few years, right?? Actually this army was ridiculously quick and easy to paint (for obvious reasons), the preparation, converting and basing took a while though... Here is another marine force I'm currently finishing.....no, not Blood Angels...they will be Blood Drinkers!   After these guys are done, I'm planning a very large Sons of Horus army to oppose the Iron Hands.....have all the minis, just need to prep and paint em.

Wow!! Those iron hands are spectacular! The conversions and details really make those heresy-era models look awesome!! This may be one of my favourite space marine forces I've seen yet, love it! The blood drinkers are off to a great start too, I love the mix of old and new style models in your armies, gives them real character and stops the feeling of utilitarian marines, great job and I can't wait to see your next projects!!
