Post subject:  Wanted: Suggestions For A Multi-Legged Titan Miniature

I've been thinking about some kind of Titan for my Exiles force and thought it might be fun to have some kind of walker, something with 3 or more legs to differentiate it from the standard Titans that we are familiar with. The other specification would be that I'd be looking for this to have 3 or more weapons to make it a reasonable foe against the larger Titans and at least equal to if not more powerful than the smaller types of Titan. Also, I'm looking for something that looks sleek or high tech (if AT-AT walkers were available in 6mm they'd be perfect!)

I like the Exodus Wars Khazari Mining Machine, but I'm assuming that this is probably nowhere near the size of a Titan.

The Titan / Walker will be complimenting these Plasmablast vehicles:

Take a look at the infinity support robots - i would guess about warhound size in 6mm. The TAGs are warlord size but 2 legged. Alternatively see some of the stuff planned for spartan's 10mm game to be released this summer (i think.)

Maybe THIS walker from Spartan Games would do as a base? (or am I taking the multi-legged thing too far :D )

Yes, might be too small for a Titan ... but maybe with an Edenite Turret it could work as a Chaos Defiler ... Image

I have built a four legged titan, waiting to be painted, to go with my super secret chaos army I have been working on for the last few weeks. I will have pictures up soon but they are not ready...yet!

But its huge, so huge in fact that I need to order a specialist base for it to fit!

Though when I finally get round to showing it off, it might give you some inspiration then! ;)

Excellent! So many options, but which one to choose?! ;D

@Blip: The Infinity robots look very good indeed, I just can't decide which seems best! I tried to find Spartan's upcoming releases but had no joy.

@Onyx: I don't mind the number of legs but it needs more guns!

@AB: It probably would be good but I can't imagine you'd still be able to get these...

@L4: I don't have any Defilers so that is definitely worth looking into!

@Rex: I look forward to the big reveal for your super-secret Chaos army and the four legged Titan - it sounds ace!

These are fantastic CC! Many thanks for sharing these! I'm a big fan of the last three in particular!

Cheers!

EDIT: I'm thinking the one 3rd from the bottom, the Xanthos Battlemech is the winner!

I'm glad I could help.

Most mechs will be about scout titan size the click mechs may be much bigger. But I don't have any of those.

I'm sure it will be perfect for what I'm looking for! Except that I can't find anywhere in the UK that sells them! I may have to bite the bullet & order from the US which means high postage. :-\

Still, it would be worth it for those minis, very nice indeed! :)

That one is fairly new. May be worth contacting Ral Patha if they will have it in time.

Here are more images of your chosen one :)

Is that a 3 legged mech in the second last pic you posted there? It's hard to tell from the angle of the pic...

Have to say I do still love the 4 legged one!

That is a 3 legged mech in the last pic. That is the Ares mech form Wizkids Dark Age click game.

It was one of the biggest they made; I just don't know exactly how big it was.
