Please visit my blog to see a few pics of my first painted Devilfish:http://mickeysminis.blogspot.co.uk
The camo on top of the grey areas matches the base, I may keep this across the whole army or just use it for scouts.
Please give constructive comments.

Thanks for those who have commented on the blog. In answer to Yorkie, the minis were bought direct from the US. I will also a pics with a Rhino for a size comparison.

That's a great looking Baku my friend! Very interesting scheme and well executed.

One thing I agonised over when preparing the mini was whether or not to remove the box that it sits on. I decided to keep it to reduce prep time and to be fair it isn't clearly seen. Am I right in thinking the box is a flight stand/base Don, or do you see this as an integral part of the mini?

I will try to get some better pics today.

You're correct - the box on the bottom is just a stand. I wanted to make it look like its hovering from your average view, but still give it a solid surface for gluing.

Today I've added a post on my blog detailing how I make/paint bases/flight stands for my floating/flying minis: http://mickeysminis.blogspot.co.uk/

Here's a finished one. Note that is still attached to the cork I painted it on

My infantry bases arrived today from Fenris Games, they are fantastic, thanks to them and those who recommended them. I will start work on these (and the infantry) soon.

I also use bases from Fenris. They are great. I like the base and the colors used :)
I always struggle with my basing theme and color choices.

What shape are you going with?

I'm toying with the idea of having Fenris (or anyone else with a laser cutter) cutting some custom shapes for my Tau...

I've completed my first Fire Warrior units, I couldn't wait to work with my new minis/bases (both of which are fantastic). I've uploaded a few pics to my blog:http://mickeysminis.blogspot.co.uk/

These Onslaught minis were a joy to work with, very little cleaning up and very easy to paint. I hope the Avians are just as good. I can also recommend the Fenris Games Bases, I used FGPLYEPIC25, customised with 4 holes, not 5.

Here are a couple of pics, lots more on the blog.

Very nice! If you have higher res photos I could definitely use some of these for the MiniWars model DB. With your permission, of course.

Sadly this is the best I can do with my iPhone, but I'm more than happy for you to use them.
