I have admired Onyx's oval-based Tyranids, and I'd like to base my Tyranids the same way. What dimensions should I make my custom order? The strip bases are 40mm by 12mm right? I have noticed that an oval base of that size has a lot less area compared to a rectangular strip. Is that a problem? Will fitting 5 holes of 6mm each for the 5 infantry minis take up too much space on a strip that size? Perhaps I should go 42 by 12? Opinions would be appreciated! Thanks!
