Hey guys,
I´d like to give some of my painted models to this forum for comments and stuff. Sometimes there will be lots I also post on my blog, but especially the work in progress I´d like to show here exclusively. I hope you enjoy it.

First post are some chimera proxies made out of old Ork plastic Battlewaggons and Leman Russes. Here we go:

Those conversions from the plastic ork trukks is awesome. Your painting is very nice and it really brings your mini's to life. I will be checking your blog for sures!

Tzeentch Warp Palace and Silvertowers
Scratch built project

A little Update from my side. Yesterday evening the scratch building fever took me. I felt the capturing need fore some Tzeentch support for my upcoming Chaos army. Here are the results for now. Critics and comments are welcome as usual.

Honestly it was quite easy to built. If I have some time tomorrow evening, I can try to make a short tutorial. Just to sum up a bit what you need:

1. two different sized plastic card tubes (size depends on the overall size of your models)
2. 3mm plasticcard-board
3. square profile plastic card

The main Idea is to cut out different sized chaos stars, in order to get a 3dimensional feeling. details are just cut into the card by a sharp knife.
In the end it takes just one evening to produce the amount of models shown above and is relatively cheap. Material was sth. around 12€, even though I have quite some stuff left over. Compared to the ugly and incredibly expensive models on ebay its supposed to be the better alternative, isn´t it?
Finally the only thing I am wondering about is the painting scheme. I have no idea jet^^

Edit: Sadly I had no time for a quick tutorial. I will claim it a topic for my blog in 2014. If anyone wants to built stuff like that within the holidays, feel free to pm me if advice is required. Till then: Happy Christ-mas(s)

Merry X-mas to all of you.

There is a small update for my blog. Anyway I can show the WIP here as well. I am working on a large Number of Death Riders. The photos are showing the whole lot and a close up of a finalised stand. I am currently wondering, if some colour to the fur would be necessary, even though I hardly try to avoid focalising that part of the miniature. Just imagine war in the far and distant future and mongolske cavalry is crossing the battlefields... perhaps its better as it currently is - just highlighted black?!

Short Update: Battlefleet Gothic

Every Army needs a Fleet to carry it to foreign lands. My upcoming Chaos forces are going to get a 2-3K fleet in BFG. The Order of Dawn is intended to unify Tzeentch and Slaanesh-themed armies that are already waiting to be assembled and painted. I hope you like the results, even though the painting scheme isn´t 100% my IP ^^

More pics as usual on my blog.
Cheers.

Really like those escorts. Tell me more about them :)

actually they were just leftover parts from two Battlecruiser conversions I am working on. You might recognise the keel of the Plastic cruisers used for the Backpart. Furthermore just leftover weapon batteries and Space Marine shoulder pads. It´s as simple as that :)
