Hi Guys I have have recommenced my sordid affair with epic over the last 18 months and thought it is about time that I contribute to this forum as I regularly surf its pages. Hi and welcome! you have executed the painting scheme well. Simple but very effective and the highlights make the minis pop-up nicely. I also like the fact that you have used quite some time for the conversions. I myself like to tweak minis quite a bit also. I wish I will have a sizable force like that painted up someday

Solid painting, really like the small conversions and supreme commander stand. Small point, but it might be worth neatening up the base a bit. |

Hey Guys Lead_Space and Mr Gonzo I am glad you enjoyed the conversions, I really enjoyed doing them. I have another 3000-4000 points converted, magnatised ready for painting including another terminator formation. Other than Calgar I spent the most time on my termies because how awesome are they. Not just in a gaming sense but how they look and their fluff (if your into it). Apocolocynosis Yeah, I know what you mean about the bases. I haven't varnished yet so there has been some wear which is most apparent on the warhounds, you know how your always moving those puppies around. Some of the bases need another coat around the edges as it seems a bit thin. I may try glazing or even washing the base which may inhance it some... What do you reckon? Mic |

Over this next week or two I am working on a table as I am keen to get some battle reports posted with a mate who has his bad moons also near completion. I guess it dosen't matter how good the army's look if their on an ordinary table it will do the army's an injustice. |
