Primarch:  It's from the Orkimedies Big Mob list for EA.

Not even Grots can avoid the compulsion to build their own effigies to Gork and Mork. When the Mekboys and Big Meks aren't looking Grot ?wee meks? will filch armour plates, bolts and anything not already bolted onto a vehicle or Gargant as they attempt to build their own Gargants. Not big enough to be considered Gargants, or even Stompas, the vehicles are referred to as Grotnoughts because while they might seem titanic to the average Grot they are often only slightly more effective in combat than an Ork Dreadnought... just larger, heavier and more prone to explosive failure. Grotnoughts are used in the same
manner as Grots in other formations... mainly to soak up fire and trigger minefields.

I likes 'em.  Nice n' orky. :D

==============

Warmaster:  I posted on the playtest board, but I figure it beras repeating.

You and Krooza need to have a grudge match with all your gargants and fortresses on the board.  Something like 12K OGBM list ought to be about right... :p

Warmaster you are incredible. You are fast becoming the Kr00za of Epic scale. :O  :cool: And I don't understand where you find the time and, most of all, the energy. Now I'm envious.  Excuse me while I go sulk in some corner... :angry:    :;):

I'm going to join you in the sulk corner, put to shame, by Grots of all things :laugh:
So, when are these to be released for sale? I'll buy them ALL.

Thanks guys :)

are they on 60mm bases?!

Not exactly. Just some circular pieces of plastic I had lying arround. I think they are about 4cm across.

...An Neal got the Fluff right too :;):

Maybe they are a bit big for DC2 Warengines but on the other hand DC dooesn't necessarily reflect the size of a unit. If it is very poorly built (by grotz for example) a warmachine the size of a DC3-4 may very well only have a damage capacity of 2. ...At least in my book :;): :p

Cheers! :)

It's not hard to get the fluff right when it's a copy and paste... :p

I agree that they should be just a bit bigger than a Stompa.  They are about as tough, but more rickety.  The extra size ought to just about balance that out.

Ah - I was trying to judge from the size of the gretchin on one of them! I agree they probably about the right size considering a Stompa is just an AV.
