No, they are much larger. But I prefer them anyway since in my opinion they compare better to the other flyers that I use.

FYI- a mix of Spartan games and original GW airships.

So I see the Plicht airship is slightly larger than the original Squat Overlord, the others slightly smaller:

I think I'll take the Plicht. Like they said, the original Squat Overlord was slightly under-scaled so..

Any suggestions for Tau drones? (Or links on how to mass scratchbuild them!)

Or do what someone I saw here did: Punch discs of plasticard, then attach one or two antennae from thin strips of plasticcard.

Bradley Miniatures Chariot IFV (Shapeways: https://www.shapeways.com/model/2945479 ... li=ostatus)

I've been looking for a wheeled vehicle to use as a Razorback for SM scouts, something a little shorter than the metal vehicle in the top of the picture. The Chariot IFV is a good model, but I would use a Razorback turret on it. I only ordered one to check it out.

I think considering Scouts are lightly armored and there is just one stand, it might work as being smaller than a Rhino.

that turret would look good on a predator i expect. something to give some nice visual distinction between vehicles/formations

The model also comes with an extra barrel, not the full turret. I'm not sure why, since it's exactly the same as the barrel on the turret shown. You can see the extra barrel in the Shapeway pics.

I guess with a little cutting that could be done. I personally think the material may be a little too fragile to do it right.

edit 1: I sent the seller a message to find out. I also asked if he was planning to make more turrets, or even the same turret with different barrel inserts. I also noticed on his facebook page some of his models are going to metal, so I asked if this was one that could go to metal as well. I'll update this message with the answers.

edit 2: Since sending my e-mail the picture for the IFV on Shapeways shows the barrel as a plug-in to the turret. I guess the original print that I received had the barrel already in the turret. That is the reason for the "second" barrel, it should have been the only barrel.

edit 3: seller confirmed the issue about the barrel, should only be one and detached. He has updated the file going forward. He said a metal version is high on the list, but would need other people interested to be sure. He is also working on another light tank.

The Chariot IFV from Bradley Miniatures will include some different turrets in the future, he posted a pic today and asking if people wanted it in metal:
