Okay,

Well after a couple of weeks of checking stuff out, I took the plunge into 6mm.

-Infantry from CinC
-Vehicles from Plasmablast
-Infantry bases and buildings from Brigade

Just got to figure out a few more terrain options, paint like a mad man, and I'll be ready! :spin

Good on you Tim! Now you can play real battles, not 28mm skirmishes.

What system will you be playing? Epic Armageddon is my favourite wargame and the most discussed and played on the forum (with around 10 tournaments going on a year if you're UK based), though there are other 6mm rulesets out there.

Thanks guys.

I will check out those rivers, roads and forts.

We'll be using Strike Legion so that we can combine different settings. Some of my buddies have epic stuff, some the new Robotech line - game looks quite crunchy to say the least.
