Though it was made for Dogfighting WW1 over this webpage shows a simple and effective method of making effective trench systems and Somme style terrain

That IS a nice board - the hex overhead idea is great too (Tas, remember the old Aquanef ideas for surface ships vs subs?)

Agreed - I dont know that would have gone to such lengths, but it is an interesting project

Yep - anothet good idea to file away for a rainy day
I'm quite partial to a Dawn scrap at 5,000 feet with a few Huns you know
