Hello all, Long time lurker here, looking at getting back into epic:a. I intend to completely restart my old imperial guard army, and aim to have it tie in to my 40k krieg one. I was thinking of using irregular miniatures Ww1 Germans, french or Austrians. Has anyone got experience with any of these miniatures? I may end up buying a few packs of each anyway, as they are so cheap and I hear the models are of variable quality. Does anyone have suggestions for making heavy weapons teams, ideally I would like to find a smaller pak 40 type thing to look like an autocannon I can stick to a base. I'm also attempting to find any way to get hold of a certain selection of mail order only items that were passed on to some of the forum members here as I understand it. Is the person in question still creating miniatures? I loved the look of some macharius tanks and also an enclosed cab medusa. All the best, Tom |

Not had any dealings but thanks for mentioning this company as I was highly entertained when looking through their Sci-fi section. I love their devil-may-care attitude - won't elaborate, but if you're anything like me, I'm sure you'll have a chuckle to yourself when you have a look! Agree with you Tom, worth a gamble at those kind of prices! Oh, and welcome to the forum! PS Disappointed that under the "biblical" section Jesus & his Disciples were not on the list of items for sale... |

I highly recommend Exodus Wars - http://www.exoduswars.com/6mm-Marcovian ... archPage=1 over Irregular ... |

Some of the irregular minis are meant to paint up brilliantly in the hands of some one with some basic painting skill! Though L4 is right, exodus do great proxies. But just as I researched heavily in to Irregular as I need some of their dark dwarves, and lesser goblins to finish off my fantasy Mayhem armies, I found these shots of lesser goblins which look awesome... http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-loWW9R0YD9k/T ... e%2521.jpg |

Thanks for the replies. I've had my eye on the exodus wars and other more popular proxies before, the thing that attracts me to irregular miniatures is the variety of poses and that their ww1 Germans/French would actually look like kriegers. I think I'll use those other manufacturers for a future renegade guard army though. I'm gonna buy some anyway, they are dirt cheap and I'll post the results when I get time. On another note, how about any good ork proxies? I have around 500 ork boys, all in the same pose and was looking at living up the stands with some old space marine era mad boys and storm boys. Has anyone got any other ideas for adding in a little variety? |

Goblins and Orks from fantasy lines should be able to be converted without too much heartache |

If you end up buying Irregular, would you mind uploading some (better then theirs) pictures up? ^_^ Their range is so huge and so affordable, their pictures are so subpar... |

I'm both happy and disappointed that Irregular seems to be the only source of 6mm WW1 Brit tanks (mk IV). I couldn't find anything (not even that) in a few google searches, and it could be a base for not-Leman Russ conversions in the future; but from what I've seen of the company over the years, 'Irregular Miniatures' seems to be a very apt name. The mk IV itself looks kind of wobbly in it's one photo. |
