Post subject:  Lead-Space paints & builds

I'm new to the forum and have spent hours admiring the works of other members. I decided to start posting here what I paint or build. This hopefully motivates me to work faster.

I play skirmish games with epic figures (ITEN) and will also build armies for Netepic in time. For now I concentrate on single based minis.

Here is an assault terminator which I finished up today. Lightning was bad and the top highlight has vanished it seems. Well you get the idea.

I have now 5 terminators, 1 assault bike and a librarian ready. More pictures of them later. I need to start making scenery soon also..

Now back to the painting table! :)

Welcome! Great conversion and painting job. I am especially intrigued by the poster on that wall. Fabulous first post.

Thank you all!

Jimmyzimms: Yes I've been checking Nippys work and actually it inspired me to try some small scale conversions myself.

Fredmans: Thanks, I quite like the poster myself too. It's the small details that make the difference. I just glued that piece of paper into the wall and washed it with watered down green, brown, black, sepia washes. Very thinly and in small areas to not over do it.

I only wish that I could paint / sculpt the crux terminatus.. Terminators don't look right without it :)

thanks again for your encouraging words

A little update regarding some terrain pieces I've been working with. It's been hectic lately since we had a baby last month, so not too much time for hobby. Not complaining though :)

I'm building an ork village an here are some WIP pics of one larger storage building and a oil / fuel storage piece. Still a lot to do with them but I'm pleased at this point

skirmish games sound very intresting
a friend of mine build a 6mm bloodbowl field
why not playing WH40K with 6mm minis
Epic pocket game ;D
Scenery and(especially) minis are great

wow 6mm bloodbowl! would like to see that. I've been playing with the idea of playing 2nd ed. W40k with 6mm figures and might try it when I have more painted figs.

More pics coming shortly!

A little update. I've been busy with the newborn that all painting has been slow. The ork hut is 99%. Finished but there's not enough light to take pics..

So here's a pic of my converted crimson fist termie. Added shield and made a thunder hammer. Also added purity seal. First I thought that the shield wouldn't pass as a storm shield but I saw a picture in one of the RT era books where terminator wielded a shield exactly like this!

All the details dont show because of the bad light.

Here he is
