I'm not too satisified with the painting of the "ball", but I guess it's alright as is...

It looks great! If you are looking for ideas for the gold how about a cracked look like the pic below, the lines in a darker/more red gold. Not sure if it would look better or worse though.

I like the construction too. The dirges have had a good job too! But the darklining Falesh proposed would certainly improve the ball greatly! Another thing that might be good: Glue some lines between the ball & the dirges, and paint these gold. That would reresent rays of some sort... Frecus The glade wanderer Madwarrior |

@ Frecus and Falesh : Thanks for the advice, I'll really think about it... but I don't think my painting skills are up to it, and I'm afraid to ruin it all. ?  EDIT: By the way, Frecus, these are Jackals, not Dirges. |
