Well... I've been busy lately, even more so now I am on WoW... oh well, but I still have a little time to do other stuff. As you may or may not know, I've been working on a new Tyranid Project, even though it is very slow, here is a sneak peek of my work. In my Special Project a while back, I made a small conversion of teh Tyranid Warrior, awhite albino on two others with sything claws. This I call my v1. |

Wow! Brilliant work Lextar! What are you using for the "head plates" on v2? |

The v2 warriors are great. Did you use green stuff to change the heads? I am curious how you did the scything talons. -Audrey |

The Talons look like they were taken from hormagaunts? Class conversion. |

![]() Yeah, used green stuff for the heads. Going to write up how to do these if I can get around to it (and if someone-else don't beat me to it). But basically I kept nipping the green stuff to form the head. The talons are actually cut from very thin plasti card, and a blob of green stuff on the end. Once again I used tweezers to nip the green stuff to form the arms. So lot of nipping. The v2 were prototypes as I wasn't sure how it would look. So I was using old used and painted figures. I'm hoping to use my new ones and these will be v3, but will be a while before I can be bothered. |

Nice work Lextar, and thank you for showing that adding carapace to the heads of Epic 'Nid Warriors can be done! When I eventually do my own Epic 'Nid army I was planning on doing the same - so thank you for showing it IS possible. ![]() |
