Hi all, Forgeworld have a new lander for the Imperial Navy: http://www.forgeworld.co.uk/arvusl.htm The Arvus lighter shouldn't be too difficult to scratch for Epic - a small Lander, perhaps. (thinks) (yes, it happens on occasion) ( ![]() |

No similar thoughts went through my mind. Lets hope FW will continue their recent good habits of releasing 40k sclae models in Epic scale. Cheers James |

You have my attention now... No reason it shouldnt work. Lots of air and orbital cover. And boarding parties wouldnt be too dissimilar to Assault troops. It would be a specialised force with no armour (maybe some bikes?) but would have a lot of flavour. Hmmm..... ![]() |

"Arent you a little short for a stormtrooper?" ? ![]() No...Assault troopers, the old SM2 era ones Possibly some robots too - they could be stored more easily onboard the Ship. ?As could rapiers and the like. ? Though we are getting very old school now Ships have Commissars and tech-adepts too so they could be landed with the sailors. There was some good Naval Landing party action in the first BFG Novel |
