Hi, Apparently GW is reinventing the DIY concept with Epic Armageddon by doing cool rules but not putting out any models. So I've been trying to figure out how to do some demons that weren't completely uncharming. I've come to the conclusion that what I think works best is single warmaster demons. Here's a picture of how it works: ![]() As you can see they're big... but not nescesarily insanely big. I believe something that could smash a landraider singlehandedly (at least in 40k they could) should be of that size. And Forgeworld mega demons seem to concur. A single pack of warmaster demons will give you 30 epic stands if you do it this way -- now that's economy! And oh well - of course I'll buy the new shiney old ones if they ever put them back in production |

I wouldn't mind them, although I'd prefer 2 per stand (ok, 3, but 2 is a lot cheaper of course!). In fact they remins me of the SM era Epic daemons, which were quite large too. Thanks for the sizing photo. ![]() ![]() |

I could see me using Warmaster demons for epic. They don't look too big. |

Hi! They seem to be the same size as the old demons, so I'd use them in a heartbeat. ![]() Primarch |

I've used them in strips on new epic stands. much less economical but the horrors look great ![]() |

I've used WM deamonetts in pairs for mine, getting them singly didn't prove easy due to the posing on the strip but I got quote a few differnt pairs and with a bit of bending they look quite varied (sorry no pics as I don't have a camera that can do decent Epic pics, yet.) Orde |

It's actually a Khorne/Tzeentch Army, mostly Khorne. I've just been a bit ill so I haven't got round to finishing it. |

Yeah, MageBoltRat's stuff is pretty awesome. Deffinately one of the best Epic painter/modellers around. I use some of his stuff as inspiration for my armies. ![]() Malakai |
