Thank you very much. :)

These have been a pig to photograph for some reason and i see looking at the pics that i need to hit those dreads with more matt varnish. Took an age to paint too.

I'll try and get a few pics up of them with their pods later.

Great work! I like all the different pod positions

I have never been able to get good pics of red painted stuff, it seems to be a particularly difficult colour to photograph as highlights tend to wash out easily.... however these look great and I'm sure they're even better in person! :)

Thanks again guys your comments are well received.

kyuss, it's true red does seem to cause photography problems and with these i had to use the flash as without it the pictures were to dark. Unfortunatly this washed out the models in the front row a bit. The earth bases haven't helped either in getting the figures to stand out. Still over all the pics came out reasonable i think.

Not sure what will be painted next (to many choices) but more khorne will be added sometime. And i still have the castellum on the go. I have had some warping trouble on this one with the bases curving up so i've have to do some file work to help level it again. If i decide to try casting it i may have to superglue it down to something that will stay flat and hold it all down.

Cheers

have you tried turning the warped base upside down and spraying the bottom side?
That sometimes helps as it tries to warp the board back the other way...

Having the warp trouble myself with some 60mm ply bases from Fenris. I was thinking applying PVA to the bottom maybe.

Oh hey chaps, the model is all plastic so would painting the bottom make any difference in this case?

I have the same trouble with ply bases Nitpick and that's after painting both sides too, a hazard of the material i suppose.
