Slabbed some paint on the altar. I am trying to move the medieval-with BIG FACES Nurgle theme more towards a derailed decayed industry kind. And I am beginning to get the utmost respect for those of you who actally take good pictures...

Thanks Els! I think that there are better pics of the water earlier in the thread. I seem to be a crap Macro photographer, though. On the water; if you are planning to use it in very shallow puddles or similar it will probably work fine. I imagine a two part clear resin would give better results, buts so horribly messy...

Hey Nitpick really like that machine, i like what you are doing with your nurgle stuff. I was never that keen on the primitive, made of wood look ever. Decayed industrial is the way to go, consider this idea stolen. ;D

Steel away, pun intended. I have test painted a cult HQ base and hope to share it here as soon as I get it based.

Thanks Ed. Bases are from Fenris games. Brilliant stuff. Nice service too. Highly recommended.

Some more cultists. Starting to realize the amount of stuff to paint through to get a decent sized horde army. Been a while.

Like the look of those cultists/muties, a good mix of figure conversions and other alternative models. This is going to be a cool looking force.

Who makes them hex bases please?

For water especially Nurgley stuff just use normal PVA in layers it works brilliantly.

Thanks dakka. Hope to get going soon, if not that other life starts getting in the way... As said above, bases are from fenris games. Lots of variants there to choose from. Nice guy too.

Long time no update, so here are some finished cultists. I have used GW and exodus minis and converted many heavily. Half swaps of IG infantry and GW cultists mostly. My first attempt with the GW basing paints too. Quite pleased with the result.

Yeah, the cultist units are really great; the variety does them justice :-)
