This is a bit following from my Commander Dante. Now he has 5 Honour Guards, so that is 6 troops in total.
I'm mounting the honour guards on a 4x2 base, and not sure whether to put Commander Dante on here, or mount him on a 4x1 base and put some scenary.
What do people think, and if put him with his guards, how do I position the guards around him?

There is some flexibility for base size in the rules- why not do a special sized one to fit all your troops comfortably ?
That way you can do a themed base that will suit your special Commander, and have his honour guards with him (as they should be)

I can have commander Dante slightly raised on a stone, and the five guards around him on the base.

Maybe you can put an assaut marines with a jump packs ?
one over another troop like they aer jump.

I think a round base would look really nice for such a special model.
