Im currently working on a new Ad-Mech force (for those who have seen my Orcs that is why nothing new for a while) so i thought i ought to have pics of my original legion before i post them up.

is that a battletech thngy snuck n there in the middle - also -jazzy paintscheme, the harlequins would be proud.

They are the same exept there is a lip on the front to show where the shield was in the old rules.

Lol back in the day those were the type of colour schemes Gw was pushing.
Also as i had always had evil armies for Warhammer i decided to go good guy with bright shiny models and my mate who was always elves and good guys went chaos and nids.
The new ad-mech scheme is much simpler.

It's definitely a paint scheme that went out of style with bellbottoms, but it's so Classic GW I love it anyway!

Did you GS the texture onto all the bases?

Wonderful, although one question: surely the base should be flock painted Goblin Green (assuming they still make it)?

Hard to remember (about 20 years ago) but i think the Battletech stuff has integral bases so i assume i used putty to hide those, knights may have been done like that to match, simply cant remember but inconsistancy of basing has always been a problem for me which is why ive re-based a lot of my Epic stuff over recent months.
