Just wanted to see if any one had any good idea's for what color I should base my eldar army. For the most part all the tanks and aspects wont matter, with aspects being a all the original colors and the tanks floating above em. But for my guardians its a bit harder. They are mostly light grey and and a touch of blue(helmets), so any kinda of black with grey dry brush is out cus they blend in with the base too much and I want them to pop out against the base. The base is already sanded but not yet primed... any idea's? |

I think if you went with like bestial brown, and then a heavy dry brush of a tan, then to bring the tan out a little bleached bone on top. and then followed bestial brown on the edges or black i think that would look pretty decent. Blind- |

Would it? if you did a very light drybrush and kept alot of black like a volcanic landscape then they should stick out nicely against the black (except for dark reapers) or maybe black with dark angels green drybrush to give it more of an alien landscape sort of like how gw used to paint warpstone? sort of similar to this on a small scale. https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-s8-6 ... raters.jpg I think with black with a tinge of green could work and give a nice alien landscape feel to it |

My most common basing scheme is Charadon Granite with drybrushes of Graveyard Earth and Kommando Khaki, then the edge touched up in Charadon again. ![]() ![]() |

I think both blind horizons first one and centurions are what Im looking for. One thing I never thought of was to go all the way to bleach bone for the highlights, it totaly pushes it to perfect. have to test out some on my new eldar infantry hoard in the next few days. |
