thought i would put up some battletech stuff i have painted in the last year or so....BT is the game i have consistently played throughout the years, other games come and go but BT will always be in my heart, no matter how much CGL try to screw it up (but that is a whole other rant)...

I like those BT tanks above, good work. How big are they in comparison to the standard Leman Russ?

I have a bunch of old Mechwarrior models but no BT ones to compare scales.

most of the BT tanks would be the sized between the Leman Russ & the super heavies (BT never great for maintaining scale :( some light tanks minis are bigger than heavy tanks minis) i have a few assault class tanks that make the EPIC Leviathan look small ::)

@ moredakka - the Mad Cat is possibly the best ton-for-ton mech ever devised for the game and yes it looks very cool as well, especially when u look at all the early clan era artwork that featured the Mad Cat :) always felt the bird leg minis sucked to put together (i have quite a few clan bird leg designs and they were rather frustrating to put together)...

thanks :)

as for a BT movie...never I hope...after the abomination of an animated series and considering the clowns in charge of the game at the moment i just know any movie they made would be rather sucky (think Mutant Chronicles or the 40K ultrasmurf movie)...

as for a total war style game...that would be very interesting as i like the total war series...but again i doubt it will happen...sorry being very negative :(

I enjoyed the animated series. Of course I was like eight when I watched it... now explain to me again how she installed those holographic systems in the 'mechs with no help?

i was in my 20s when the animated series was released...never watched all of it, actually watched very little of it, then nerd rage took hold at the insult to BT that is was :D ...as for why could she install the systems without help...main characters can do anything...its in the tv/movie script writers handbook...i mean R2-D2 is meant to be a humble astro droid yet is possibly the greatest hacker in the universe :)

Love the 'tech. The Vulture is definitely one my top favorite Clan designs too, alongside the Loki, Thor, Timber Wolf and Uller.

mmm... Timberwolf. I really like some of the stuff from TR3060 though, particularly the Pack Hunter, Nova Cat, and Blood Asp. And then there's the Pirahna, the most hilariously single use mech in the history of BT. But it's so cool.
