Those who came across my thread a short while ago will remember that my Eldar force has the addition of Guardian Storm Squads, armed with pistols and assault weapons. Now, I have a problem. I want to be able to represent these guys as easily and effectively as possible. My options are:
1. Standard Guardians, with a different helmet colour. 2. Old style Guardians, which look thinner and in different poses. 3. Some kind of conversion or using an Aspect Warrior, probably Scorpions. 4. Using the old Harlequin minis.
Option one is probably the easiest, but wont look so good. Option two is fairly easy but relys on out of date minis (although I do have a whole load of these). Option three has potential, but will be a fair bit of work for a few stands of them. Option four will probably look the best, but again relies on out of production figures which are difficult to find, and I think that I dont have so many as there was only a single base to a sprue.
Other alternatives are:
5. A combination, perhaps four old style Guardians with a single old Harlequin to lead the squad. 6. Some other idea.
Personally, I am coming round to option five, although two and three are tempting.
Any comments or ideas? Thanks.

I'd back 5 too, CS. Unless you plan to use your Harlies otherwise, that is.

Shurely most 40k Storm Guardians squads have some support weapons on board, so a couple of normal guardians plus 3 Harlequins is closest short of conversions.

Greatings from bangkok!
That is me sold. Using old style Guardians, with a few Harlequins sprinkled in seems the easiest and most effective idea... now, does anyone have any of those two minis available?
