Post subject:  So what did people not get finished for the comp?
OK after seeing the cool entries into the comp, and knowing what i didnt get to finish. What was any body else trying to get done but didnt make the deadline?

I was trying to get my Deamon Prince done for the single unit.

Two Deathwing formations for the battleforce catagory (heavily converted which took all the time).

And a charging Warlock titan for the titan catagory (didnt even make it past concept stage lol).

Dont believe this is breaking any non-discusion rules as the comp entries never got entered but, better check, you never know lol.

FW Vultures (heck, I haven't even finished detailing the valkyries I bought a couple months back)

Death knights Chapter command group (Chapter master & his bodyguard & staff, 2 stands in total, A Damocles Rhino and a Prometheus Land Raider).

Death Knights first company (battleforce).

Slaanesh warlord titan, thunderbolt "ace", Grand master's Imperator, grey knights and possibly more cityfight terrain.

Most of these projects didn't get farbeyonnd the planning stage though. But some day... Some day... :;):

Probably, but people will want to show them before then so there will be as mad a dash for the finish line as usual  :D

I was also hoping to finish my Eldar battle force as well as an Immolator (or two!)

I was hoping to get either my Space Wolves to a size where they would count for the Battleforce category (however, they currently stand a mere 1 predator, 4 Marines & 3 Rhinos beyond my GD entry...) or something totally different done for the Open comp, but everything I've done has been on commission or for Fanatic so I've had nothing I can post :(

I have a half-painted Phantom on my desk I was planning to enter, and planned on building another bit of terrain (possibly a bridge) as well- you will all see these sometime in the next year though! :;):

Thats what i like best about this type of thing, it gets everyones creative juices going, and everyonbe else gets inspiration for new projects!!!!

Not yet I'm afraid. I'm taking them with me to Nottingham next week so they may appear on the Fanatic site, but when I say 4 marines, I mean 4 single marines, not 4 bases! I'll probably post pictures myself when I have a full squad done, but that may be a while it seems!

My first aim in terms of SW coverage is to finally get an article together on Making Logan & his Retinue & publish all my WIP shots!
