The final update form the lads at Brigade is the best yet IMHO: Th promised half-track army for IC, the Polish, have just been put up including a couple of packs deals - http://www.brigademodels.co.uk/Salute%20Releases.html for pictures, scroll past the Squadron Commander minis.

The VTOL is an odd bird :), but interesting, while the MBT and SPG are new turrets on existing German range hulls - Given both states are allies in the ONESS faction, that is not an impossibility - however, the half-tracks themselves are rather nice; A single chassis with various turrets available for a multitude of roles, it looks like an army with technical ability but not a lot of money to through around and a sensible approach to logistics and maintainence.

Very tempted to have a few for my LLAR mercenaries or even as APCs for my Scandinavians.

The lack of any sort of forward vision slits on that huge blank forward glacis bothers me. Brigade has some nice stuff, but they are so hit and miss on detail like that.

Can't say as I agree, as the Brazilian (IIRC) Cascavel halftrack has exactly the same sort of front and that's a real -life vehicle. Besides, there looks like a panel line in the middle of that glacis anyway . . .

I know what you mean.......My thought on this is that they are futuristic and technology has moved past the need for a vision slit. This allows me to get past it and actually enjoy a game with the minis.

If I were designing an armored vehicle, I'd include vision slits for redundancy regardless of what tech I had. It's too easy for things like cameras or other imaging devices to be knocked out, leaving you blind.

However, as L4 says, YMMV.
