I was actually referring to the IG in those battle-pics of yours. But cryptic is fine by me :)

Thanks guys! Glad you like them!

I thought it time to come with an update. I have been doing som more work on the vehicles for the warband thats going to be mechanized. In total there will be 5 battlewagons and one flakkwagon.

Here they are: Like I said earlier my close-up/macro objective is broken and I haven't figures out yet how to lengthen the shutter time on the camera i'm using. Therefore the pictures are somewhat lacking and became very dark. I have brighten them up a bit in iPhoto so the colors are a bit distorted.

Anyways they´re WIP pictures: the crew guys and some areas which are going to be green have not yet been painted. The final highlight for the yellow is missing on all but one. Sadly the "before-painting-pictures" are gone so I can't show those like I wrote in my last post.

I hope you like them. I have been distracted by some other 10mm painting so progress have been slow on the orks. Might have a game Image next week though and that usually gets me motivated to do some painting.

cheers

Good to see that those dozens of old battlewagons probaly everyone has still lying around can be used in such an inspiring way.

Ha ha, I'm exactly the same. That or if something is new and/or shiny.

Stuff looks great, love the little details like the mis-matched wheels.

Thanks guys! I'm glad you like them Image

I took the boyz out for some gaming last wednesday like I wrote. I did a short picture-bat-rep on the game. You can find it
over here

It was a lot of fun, I didn't do a lot of painting except for the bases on some more ork infantry, but I finished another
forest (which can be seen at a distance in the bat.rep.).

We had to stop after two turns due to time constraints, but we agreed at the conclusion that the orks probably had
the upper hand Image Image

cheers

Ok updates have been rather scarce lately mostly because I haven't painted very much of epic
but I have been rather busy with painting 10 mm for warmaster. These are my black orks for instance:

Image

I have to say that 10mm scale is the most fun I've done in a while. You can actually pic out details on the
infantry but they small enough so that a unit don't take forever to paint for me. It sort of almost make me which epic
was 10mm scale.

Well enough of this 10 mm nonsense, back to epic. I've done a little bit more work on the orks. I've did some painting on the
battlewagons and finished the crew's and last details. Didn't bother taking any pictures of those as the difference from
the last batch of pictures of them are rather small.

But here comes an ork picture, it's depicting half of the units of the warband I'm working on.

Image

Next in the paintingline for the orks is the the other half of the warband. But that will most likely not happen in quite a
while because I have a new epic project. I'm going Tau and a bunch of these Image babies arrived at my house yesterday :D

I'm also been doing some more work on terrain. The place where we play don't really have any 6mm terrain and using
28mm scale woods really annoys me so I've continued to work on some more and here are the two additional pieces I've
finished.

wood nr 2

Wood nr 3
Image

The first wood I did I tried to magnatise but that didn't work out very well. I put the trees on removable bases within the wood
instead this time. Like this.

That was all for now. Hope you like it. Now starts the, if I have learnt anything about my self, rather timeconsuming process of
finding the right painting scheme for my next army, the Tau.

Cheers!
