I don't play chaos so all my Beastmen are with IG forces, Loyalist or Traitor. I don't care for the choas stuff; it's a little outlandish for me... my shortcoming. Of course, I have been working on a Beastman company complete with Rhino mechanization options since about 2001! I roginally designed them for one of the epic golden demons... been working on them ever since. I like the idea of mutated Beastmen, it really rounds out the crazy 40k universe. They work fine as auxilia or allied troops in my opinion. I like the Ratlings and Ogryns too! Shalom, Maksim-Smelchak. |

I had a full squad of the Beastmen with Rifles for my WH40k IG. It is one of the only WH40k things I kept when I sold off all my 40k. As for my Epic scale IG. I do not have any Beastmen, but that is more a choice based on owning models then on any "fluff."?  I would not mind the beasts, just do not have any. Same for the ratlings. I do not have any painted up in my army. I own some of them, so I will have some at some point, but none right now. dafrca |

Hi all, I have just one single IG sprue, which was inserted by mistake in one of the old Chaos boxes of Epic sprues - tainted, no doubt! As I've only got very few IG, Ogryns, Ratlings and Beastmen I'm including these (with a few Beastmen recruited from the Chaos sprues!) as Stormtrooper equivalents escorting my future Inquisitor...! They'll deploy from Gorgons or from my Inquisition CI directly - but the former are more likely. |

'Fraid I use mine for bits, great las pistol etc. I don't like chaos (Nasty boys) and I don't really have enough of them to include with my IG, and besides that I just don't like them. |

Must use the beast men to fill out the ranks of my IG. I feel as if they should be chaotic but they make nice shock troops with commisars in control.As I had sprues from so long ago I thought they were all Imperials. I would still rather have them as native (Montinyard) auxillaries than let those ratlings in to my force. Even in the penal units! Cheers |

Montangnards are a good analogy, just like the Kroot with the Tau. And like mine, all are with Chaos so they must be V.C.!  ?As I said, I think there is nothing wrong with them being with the IG... especially as cannon fodder... I mean Shock Troops!

Hi! Iblisdrax, thats quite a tribe of nurglings you have there... I would definitely sell myself to chaos if I had three small girls like you! I bet when they see your epic stuff they call them "cute" or "pretty" and other things that either make you groan or giggle.  Children are wonderful, I just keep them away from my miniatures.... One day I was reorganizing some of my stuff. My little girl, six at the time, asked if she could hold some of my "little men". I gave her a few stands of troops and a couple of vehicles to "hold for daddy". It took every thing I had not to laugh watching as she set up one of her toy houses and had the Orks and her Polly pockets around a table to "eat" fake birthday cake. Too funny.  Of course I did not know what was funnier. her thinking that the Orks were "cute little green men" or the idea of a bunch of 40k Orks eating birthday cake at a party... dafrca |

Re: Orks & birthday cake. Funny coincidence as I once devised a quick scenario for Epic I dubbed "Da birthday party". It was basically two 2500 point Ork forces entering the table from the opposite edges;one was the Ork having birthday and his guests, the other were the ones he didn't invite. They were disgruntled and wanted to spoil the party by grabbing the cake. In the middle of the table was one objective (the birthday cake). The side to grab the cake and transport it off table from their table edge was the winner.
