I've been doin alot of Spacemarine conversions the last couple of weeks and I've got another one in mind.  I decied to step away from them for a bit and concentrate on Orks.
I've decided to do a small Blood axe detatchment. I am gonna try to make all their vehicals looted Imp stuff.  I've even decided to make their leader an Imp cast off.  This guy.

A renegade Ogryn named Warkin Buzzkilla (an Alias we must assume.)
This is his ride.

In the some what shakey hands of Eycahn Brainbusta,  Warkin's trusted spiritual advisor.
I'm nearly finnished with the command stand and some bikes.  I'll post more when I get'em done.

SeekerMeng,

Excellent work.

I really like the Ogryn.

How did you convert him?

I also like the Blood Axe Rhino.

How did you convert it?

Which pieces did you use?

Shalom,
Maksim-Smelchak.

Just great stuff!!! ?
I have looted Rhinos (& Land Raiders) with my Orks too and even (using SM1 standards) Ogryn with my Blood Axes...
Too cool!

Warkin the Ogryn consists of:
- Ogryn head, arms and feet.
- Ork Nob body and Stormboy jumppack.

The wagon is a Rhino: ?
- I opened the top hatch.
- Removed the front doors and cut a drivers hatch in. ?
- I removed the tracks and replaced them with wheels from an old battle wagon (along with the turret.) ?
- The side plate armour was made by super gluing tule (this is a mesh material) onto .02 sheet stock and cutting to fit. ?
- Eycahn is a weirdboy head and hand glued onto a SM scout. ?
- The field piece is from an IG heavy weapon stand.

When I think of the Orks, stuff like this wagon is a perfect match. Great job! Love to see more from you.

Hi!

I think that the orks are one of those armies where the possibility of creations such as this one are manifold.

They indeed epitomize orkiness!

Yeah, I like doing ork pieces.  I tend to model a bit over the top to begin with,  so they kinda slide right in with my style.
I also like chaos pieces as well.  Though I no longer have my chaos army.

A few quick snaps of the command stand

I've still got to dress the base, go a few touches and overcoat it.

Have you done anything new with your Orks?

IIRC he was selling much of it off, and did so in the Trades forum.

Cheers
