Greetings all. Well with my Saim-Hann army almost finished, I figured id post up some of the first WIP shots before I post up the fully painted army (should be up within a day or two) First off my converted Vyper mounted Farseer. ![]() Made from a heavy weapons platform, a support weapons platform and a jetbike. I went with this idea to add some flavour to the list, but also because id seen it done in 40k and thought it would be cool to scale it down for epic ![]() 2nd is my Wild Rider warhost commander. ![]() Jetbike, swooping hawk wings and a howling banshee for this baby (he has 2 escorts in the final base so don’t worry about that side of it) Next is the Shining spears exarch. ![]() This guy was again some swooping hawk wings and a jetbike. The body is the top half of a Dire avenger and the "spear" was from an eldar guardian holding a heavy weapon. When I did the conversion I didn’t realise that the riders held the spears. I had seen a Jetbike done with a heavy catapult painted as a shining spear and realised the mistake after I finished the guy, and I didn’t really wanna go back ![]() Last but not least are my Night spinners (already shown in the Old falcon conversion thread) ![]() Fairly simple conversion. Take one falcon, a pair of Necron warrior guns and some round sprue and stick em all together ![]() WELL that’s it for the first post. I should hopefully have the rest of the army up and ready for posting in the next few days. But hope these make a good first impression for the army. Thanks for reading QUAPLA!! |

Thanks for the feedback guys. The Avatar and the Fire dragons Im probably the most happy with in the list. Was very lucky I still had a pot of red INK in my box. The red wash is just not good enough to get that effect ![]() Ill be playing this army in a tournament at the end of the month. So it should make for a very interesting event. I was able to destroy an eldar titan legion with this list last night. So fingers crossed for what else im able to come up against ![]() |
