I,m putting together a Knightworld army for Epic using the brilliant 1/400 scale Gundam Collection models. They are about 2" tall so just the right scale too. Issue is, they are pre-painted and so a bit 'shiny' and glossy to mesh well w/ the grimdark hordes of the epic future. You can see some sample models here -
http://forum.zerogunz.com/viewtopic.php?f=22&t=2360I want to shade them and perhaps matt varnish them to bring those colours down, but am afraid, especially for the many fridge white models I have, that my washes will make them look dirty instead of detailed. I thought about shading w/ light grey or light blue, but perhaps someone has a better idea? I can also use a fine marker to just do the lines between the white armour plates... but then I'd still need a solution for the non-white bots.
