I think keeping the theme non-army specific is a better idea – something like 'Veteran Vehicle' or 'Ignominious Defeat' gives a lot of opportunities, and people can tie it into something that they can use – either as part of their army, or as a characterful objective.

Anyway – I should put my money where my mouth is! Here's my suggested shortlist:

'Veteran Vehicle'
'Ignominious Defeat'
'Stunned!'
'Military Intelligence'
'Master of War'

I think those are pretty general, and allow some creativity, whatever your choice of army.

2) Pink
3) Hammer and Anvil

I don't think I can join in (I'm a glacially slow painter, and am trying to stick with TOEG as it is...), but I can offer encouragement and ideas!

- I Carry A Big Gun
- Start Your Engines!
- Smokin'

Good idea - this could be the Other Wargames event, accompanying the Epic TOEG and Epicomp, and the BFGcomp.

You had me at 'Space Ships'!

I was thinking that this could use the other comp board, but run for the full year. It would depend on the themes, though. For example, 'use a science fiction model for a fantasy miniature, or vice versa' would be fine, but 'ten battle tanks' is really only going to work at 6mm!

Yup I think we'll stick to general painting style tasks or creative thematic ideas, so as to be fully inclusive of our diverse community.
