Must admit I am not sure about this one. For some reason I want to see it painted before I know for sure. Like the wings, but am unsure about the small guns. We shall see once you are done. dafrca |

The guns bothered me a bit - they look less "organic" than the rest of the titan, as if they were added as an afterthought by someone other than the Eldar. Otherwise, it looks very nice - should be grand when painted. |

I had that concern myself. They are, at least, eldar weapons. I am almost done painting the thing. It looks alot better painted than here. My friend really dug it. I am going to make two more so he can have a full host.  Anyway, if you think this is bad. Wait until I post what I have been planning to do to a new phantom.

I recognize all the parts, they are all Eldar of one type or another. It's sufficiently "Alien-looking". As for the new Eldar Titans, well I just see it as an evolution of a weapons type. And of course, it's also a matter of taste ...

For me, I am not sure about the 'wings'. But I like the rest of it a lot, even the wings, and I like the repositioning of the legs. A very dramatic pose. |

Yeah, definatly interesting stuff indeed... My favourite thing about the model has to be the dynamism and movement that you've put into the model by changing it's legs a bit- my one complaint about the old Phantom model is that it can look a bit 'static'.... anyway well done, I can't wait to see it painted....

My problem with the small guns is not that they do not look "Eldar" so much as they look out of place on the model. I almost would like it better without them. However, I must agree with the comments about the pose. Very nice. You can see the action in the model. However, as I said before I will reserve judgement until I see the painted model. Sometimes you need to see the paintjob as the colors can help pull elements together into a whole. dafrca |

Signius Firstly great miniature and nice images. Moderator Mode On: You need to increase the compression on your images (they are too big). Which package are you using to manipulate your images? For example your first image in this thread is 600Kb and takes 95 seconds to download on a 56K modem after manipulation it is now 32Kb and takes 5 seconds to download Currently you have no compression on your images - 99 You should have at least 40% compression - 60 Maximum image size for these forums in terms of pixels is 600 wide and 400 high Jimbo |
