does anyone think that if you cut off the exarch wings you have something that looks really similar to a fire dragon? (but the fusion gun has a really big bulb i guess.) you could even take the wings and cut off the feathers and glue them onto a warp spider to make a warp spider exarch... i havent done any of this yet, but it sounds good to me. |

I cut off the wings of the Exarchs and made them Warp Spiders, before G/W made them. I used the wing for other details like gluing them on converted Tzeentchi Knights... I never throw away anything ![]() |

I got a couple of bases of Fire Dragons a few weeks ago (there was a plastic model for 2nd edition, with Dire Avengers and cool Eldar Standard Bearers). You probably could use cut-down Hawks. Possibly Guardians would work too. We should be seeing minis for these guys with EpicA (why were they not included in Epic40K?). |

Yeah, I have a few of the old Eldar models- the Dire Avengers are cool, tho I don't think much to the Fire Dragons.... seems bizzare GW chose not to include them on the Epic 40k sprue.. ![]() |
