It's that time of year again - time for a new project, which might or might not get done; this time it's a combination of allies: the IG and Alaitoc Eldar; and their enemy, a nice big brood of Tyranids intent on nomming agriworld Sicula (they're veggies, see, and want the vast crop of succulent fountain agave). Three forces? Cunning plan, gives me variety, for those incessant drifts of attention.

The IG will be the remnants of the Dafrca Corps, sent out by their now-retired founding general Dafrca from their founding world Californax. And it's a thank you to Dafrca for a grand pile of stuff - including both IG and Eldar (and some others) - just received in a juicy package.

It's realistic - the lads were sent to me here in the Med from California, from Dafrca, to be precise. And since he sent IG and Eldar (mainly), they're at the centre of this.

The roster so far:

Dafrca Corps: (green/brown colours)
1 Recovery Leman Russ (huzzah!)
3 Chimedons
6 bunkers

Imperial allies and hangers on:
1 base of Terminators (Angels of Fire?)
(but the steady dull tread of titans is heard in the distance, and they have exotic heads and weapons....) (Legio Mechanatos, red and green trim)

Eldar: (standard Alaitoc blue and yellow, with some grey)
5 Eldar Knights
1 Avatar
2 Wraithlords
5 Wave Serpent Variants
2 Transport Serpents
1 Command Serpent

Tyranids: (purple/red/brown+black and yellow)
1 lonely Haruspex

These are stuff provided by Dafrca, and a few models which have been unearthed from the rubble left by the Great Move to Naxxar.
It's a beginning.

Update - due to stuff still being packed, I couldn't find my drills; so I'm beginning with the Eldar - 4 Knights led by an Avatar.
