Now then,

its been a long time since i posted on this forum, so i thought id show you some of my old stuff, that ive just finished re-painting. These were origionally painted back in 1990 i think, when i was still at school. For some reason they were painted white with blood angels badges all over them??? i must of had some sort of cunning plan at the time......

Image

The Baneblade, cool looking super heavy tank, still a good model, even after all these years.

Image

The Shadowsword, mega titan killer....

Image

The big boy...the Capitol Imperialis.

All painted up as part of my FWC Pax Arcadian army, pics of which are on this forum somewhere, or on my own Blog.
There are more pics of the capitol Imperialis, showing a bit more detail on my blog - http://stevesblog-yorkie.blogspot.com/

Cheers
Steve.

Nice. I love old school Epic. Not as baroque as some of today's models. Also, so rare to see a painted Capitol Imperialis, let a lone a nicely painted one like that.

Great work, I love the old school stuff, I have so much of it myself and I'm still stripping old super heavy tanks from their Blood Angel and Night Lord days as well.

Yeah sure, cool.

You don't see too many shots of the old codex grey guardsmen around anymore do you ? For the last two or three years I ve been trying to buy them on ebay with various success.I must have a few thousand now but it never seems enough !

I'm worried i've got it bad...

Cool.

Thanks L4, I always enjoy your Army's. My paintings not quite up to scatch like yours though.

Do you wash the guardsmen or dry brush ?
