actually, for a first attempt i think it looks nice !
I think with some sanding and smoothing, this xill turn quite good.

That might encourage me to try some sculpting of my own one day.

Cheers will give that a go and try and remove a bit more material, then base coat white and see what it looks like with a wash of ogryn brown!

Coming along well. A nice addition to a scout stand to add character.

Hi Guys,
Managed to get a bit of time to clean up some of the edges on the sniper marine scout, He has turned out not to bad, the milliput is pretty easy to shave little bits off for finishing, next time i design another mini i hope it goes as well. Also im doing a little project at the moment with epic terminators and genestealers, The board will be metal hence the magnets on the bottom, they are a little oversize but are strong enough to hold on but not strong enough to damage the mini when removing if you know what i mean.
The terminator is one of my modified epic 40k plastic ones cut and shut to add a bit of charector, the same goes for the genestealer model, it was to tall with the one arm/claw in the air and made the scale look out, so the high arm got chopped out and stuck out the side to make the model scale up better and add a bit of 3D as the epic model was to flat in my eyes. The board lay out will be metal sheet with the sheet dremeled with little grid squares for the chaps to go on, Also im going to make a few objectives for this and will probably put a FW thunderhawk in for looks as the final get away

Regards epic

Hi guys,
Have been trying to get some of my armies painted up recently but have been busy and the concerning pile of plastics that yet need to be painted, the pile never seems to get any smaller!

Have managed to get some of my ork army painted, have painted quite a few of the battlewagons and boyz stands already, Now just needed to paint some of the command units, quite a few of the metal 40k charectors and had only used the large dude as my war boss, have now painted up a few more and also made some orc dreads as i was not keen on the GW versions, And as i had wasted so many old SM dreads to use the guns on my terminator conversions, finally got to re use the rest of the dread to convert, simply just cut them down, fitted an orc charector and made a claw type arm!

Very lively looking group & nice conversions! I especially like the "Popeye" look of the dreads. ;)
