Just popped in to say that I've just found out Smooth-On's Task 8 resin can be vulcanised.
Thought E+C and O-man might be interested!

I've been having someone do vulcanising using resin recently, but had no idea what the resin itself was called... this is good, cheers!

Please remind me why this is a good thing? I recall it has something to do with the moldmaking process, but cannot remember where or why.

It means the expensive bronzing stage can be skipped in favour of going direct to a resin master.

Yes a vulcanisable resin is awesome it cuts preproduction costs in half, I havent used it yet myself, but if it holds the detail,I will use it in the future.  :Ikonforums:
