Hi all...so, i'm just about to start painting the excellent small walking robots donated to me by E&C and sit here scratching my chin as to what colours to do them in!
In the end I intend to have 2 medium walking robots and 1 large to go with them so need something that's going to complement them all.  
Options so far have included:
-the classic mars red with chevrons (an example can be seen on FW website)
-Grey like my Custodian Warlord (though this poor chap will be dwarfed by the time a reaver appears!)
-Something else!?!

NOT the Warprunners!

hi! maybe green with camo scheme in the up (like first edition titans) or light orange.

White with a lot of  fire marks on the legs.

maybe pink with a "hello kitty" banners?

like the hello kitty suggestion but if not what about the Morning Stars - mainly green scheme.  BigRed has done a pdf logo sheet with banners etc.

Or if you do like the red scheme do them in the theme of legio invicta from Dan Abnetts book Titanicus....

How about:

Firebrands? White and Red trim/carapace
Legio Victorum? Blue and yellow trim
Legio Metallia (classic scheme) - could go two ways with this. Either Red with gold trim or red with silver/black trim
Morning Stars - green
Fire wasps - black and red with contrasting chevrons
Imeperial fists - blue with red trim
War griffons - grey and yellow
Deathbolts - red and gold

This thread might help - focussed on pre-heresy Legions, but the loyalists at least haven't changed a great deal.  

I reckon I'd like to see someone do Legio Astramana - just replace the yellow banding with gold to give the scheme a more up to date look. A good rich green with gold would look good IMO, and it would make a change from the red and blue titans you seem to get all the time.

Have you tried bright red or royal blue?

Ok, seriously this time. Black or midnight Blue perhaps. Didn't Olly also do some very very nice White Titans?

He did a white Titan, at least.
Markconz also did some really nice Titans in white.

I found black with blue trim and the occasional spot of white worked quite well.

Go for morning stars!  as suggested the rich green and gold will be a nice change!  if yu dont i will... in about 3 yrs after I finsh just 1 titan of ignatum!

Re: White Titans Curis has done my fav white titan, which I discovered as well as a stunning Legio Ignatum titan and other cool epic models on his Ninjabread blog.

I've not really made my mind up my own titans either, but wull be interested to see what you come up with.

Morning stars are getting a lot of support...tempting...still thinking of Legio Metallica (the red guys?) though...
