I did a web search for Military Madness / Nectaris today, and the first response was "Nectaris is a registered trademark blah blah".

So, maybe it's time for me to rename my Nectaris tanks? The name Nectaris comes from Mare Nectaris, the Sea of Nectar. So I looked up the names of the other Mare, and Smythii seems neat.

Fortunately (or not so, depending upon perspective), the new Military Madness designs aren't as good as their PS2 predecessors, upon which I base my sculpts.

It also has the benefit of being similar to the last name of my first girlfriend - Smithee.

Interesting, although perhaps some sort of easy to identify Alpha numeric code based on the closest Epic-ish army, type of vehicle, and the number of models you have in that line, since they coinidentally look something like those types of models.
Ex. I-AV-001
Ex. N-WE-020
I, O, S, E, C, N, and so on.  It isn't nearly as clever but it would make for easy ID.

Let's just say you had 3 war engine transport models that might be used for the Krieg list, you could call them K-WE-001, K-WE-002, and K-WE-003.

K = Krieg
WE = War Engine
001 = first model made for that line
etc.

N = Necron
I = IG
O = Ork
E = Eldar
C = Chaos
It would be very easy to name each piece, recognize each piece, and search for them as well.

For example, if you were looking for Otterware and you needed Imperial Guard tanks, you could search the forum for "I-AV" and find any thread that contained any reference to those models.
